Welcome!
Peasenhall's unique Pea Festival is a great day out for all the family, including dozens of pea themed events. Celebrate this village's pea heritage by competing in the World Pea Podding Championships or try your luck at obtaining the National Pea Throwing title. If you're a crack shot, why not take part in Suffolk's only Pea Shooting contest. If you favour the flavour, try taking part in the pea eating competition. The only catch is that you'll have to use chopsticks.

A POEM
Would you like a day out with the family? With masses to do and admission is free?
Then join with us and be our guest at the Annual Peasenhall Pea Fest.
Our theme this year is OLYMPEAN. Fancy yourself as a champion?
With the games committee’s compliments, here’s a list of easy-peasy events:-
Pea shoot, Pea throw, there’s drop a Pea as well, then see how many Peas you can shell
Pea eating (this one’s a bit of a fix!) forget forks and fingers, instead think chop-sticks!
Flick a Pea, pot a pea, the list goes on, there’s no need to be unduly strong.
Then after all this active competing, your thoughts will certainly turn to eating.
There’s Pea and pork burgers, sausages too, locally made and Pealicious right through
Tea, coffee and cakes, all home-made, or just sip a glass of \pimms in the shade.
Music to cheer and friends to greet, we’re so easy to find at the top of the street.
Before you go home, there’s just one thing more, we finish the day with a really Grand Draw
July 15th please keep the day free for
